Will the Steelé Sponge scratch my pans?
Not when used as directed. Unlike steel wool — one hard point carrying all your pressure — the Steelé Sponge is thousands of fine mineral points on a thin flexible disc. Use it wet, with light pressure, along the grain. It lifts the burnt-on layer and polishes the steel underneath. Stainless steel only; not for non-stick or ceramic coatings.
How do I use it?
Cut the disc into quarters (most customers do — one disc, four uses' worth of edge). Wet the pan and the piece, rub gently along the grain, rinse. Five minutes, zero chemicals.
