Sound familiar?

You didn't ruin your pans.
You just couldn't find this.

The pan was $150. Within a month it had brown rings that wouldn't budge and a rainbow sheen across the middle. You tried baking soda — twenty minutes of scrubbing for a slightly cleaner shade of brown. You tried steel wool once. Once. The scratch is still there.

So now the pan just looks like that. And you cook a little less happily than you used to.

The credibility part

Why it doesn't scratch

Scratching is physics. So is the reason Steelé doesn't.

Steel wool: one point, all the pressure

A hardened strand digs in wherever it lands — past the stain, into the steel. That's what a scratch is: concentrated pressure at a single random point.

Steelé: thousands of points, pressure spread

Fine mineral particles on a flexible rubber backing, used wet. Water lubricates, the backing bows over the surface, and no single point ever digs in.

The particles are fine enough to lift the burnt-on layer and polish the steel beneath it, not cut into it. Move the disc with light pressure along the grain, and the finish comes back as the stain goes. That's controlled abrasion — the principle behind polishing compound, not sandpaper.

One rule: if you're pressing hard, you're using it wrong.

Powder cleansers work — with chemicals, a separate scrubbing pad, and a rinse-everything-twice routine. We built the pad that doesn't need them.

Sixty seconds to learn

Three steps. Water does half the work.

1

Wet it

The disc and the pan. Water is the lubricant — never use it dry.

2

Light pressure, with the grain

Small strokes along the brushed lines of the steel. Your job is guiding, not scrubbing.

3

Rinse & air dry

The pan, and the disc. It's ready again tomorrow.

Cut it to size for handles, rims, and corners — one 5-inch disc becomes whatever shape the job needs.

Why this exists

A note from our founder

My son was born in 2022 with allergies and eczema, so we moved our whole kitchen to stainless steel — no coatings, nothing to flake off into food. Then came the part nobody warns you about: stuck food, heat marks, pans that looked ten years old in ten weeks.

My mother-in-law watched me scrubbing one night and handed me a small disc — mineral stone on natural rubber, the kind Korean households have used for generations. It worked in minutes. Steelé is that disc, sourced directly from the Korean makers who craft it.

Questions, answered straight

Frequently asked

Will it scratch my stainless steel?

Used as directed — wet, light pressure, along the grain — no. Scratching needs a hard point digging in; Steelé spreads fine mineral particles across a flexible backing so no single point ever concentrates your pressure. That's the whole design. Press hard and dry, and you're fighting the design.

What can I use it on?

Stainless steel only: cookware, sinks, and stainless surfaces. Not for non-stick, Teflon, aluminum, copper-clad, glass, ceramic, or enameled cookware. If we said it worked on everything, you shouldn't trust us about anything.

How long does one disc last?

Weeks of regular use per disc — rinse it after use and let it air dry. A 3-pack typically covers months of kitchen duty.

How is this different from steel wool or powder cleansers?

Steel wool cuts at random points and takes the finish with the stain. Powder cleansers work but bring chemicals, a separate pad, and a rinse-twice routine. Steelé is one tool, water only, and it polishes as it cleans.

Do I need a cleaner or soap with it?

No. Water is the lubricant and the minerals do the lifting. That's also why there's nothing to rinse off your cooking surface afterward.

What's it made of?

Natural mineral stone bonded to natural rubber. No plastic microfibers, no synthetic foams, no chemical coatings. Made in South Korea.

Shipping and returns?

Free US shipping. Orders ship in 1–2 business days, delivery typically 3–5 days after that. Every purchase is eligible for return or exchange within 30 days.

The 30-day promise

Your pans are the point.

If Steelé doesn't make a visible difference on your stainless steel within 30 days, return or exchange it. The pan you're worried about cost ten times this — the risk here isn't yours.
